Customization, Warranty & Sales Policy

1. Manufacturing Tolerances

  • Color Variance: Due to the nature of textile dyeing and screen calibration, the color of the final product may vary slightly from the digital mockup or website images. Such "dye lot" variations within industry standards are not considered defects.
  • Size Variance: All dimensions are measured manually. Due to the flexibility of fabrics and sewing processes, a tolerance of ±3% to 5% in final dimensions is allowed and accepted.

2. Product Usage & Liability

  • Load Capacity: Unless explicitly certified in a separate written contract, our tool bags, backpacks, and luggage are designed for general utility. Linge is not liable for damages (including personal injury or equipment damage) resulting from overloading, improper loading of sharp objects, or misuse.
  • Water Resistance: Products labeled as "Water Resistant" are designed to repel light rain and splashes. They are not "Waterproof" and should not be submerged or subjected to extreme weather conditions. Linge is not responsible for water damage to contents stored inside the bags.

3. Sample Approval & Production

Mass production will strictly follow the Pre-production Sample approved by the client. It is the client's responsibility to inspect the sample thoroughly. Once the sample is confirmed, the client accepts the quality standards demonstrated by that sample.

4. Mold & Tooling Fees

Payment of mold or tooling fees grants the Client the exclusive right to the usage of such molds for their orders. However, unless otherwise agreed in writing, physical storage and ownership of the molds remain with Linge to ensure production quality and maintenance. Molds inactive for more than 2 years may be scrapped.

5. Regulatory Compliance (California Prop 65)

For clients distributing in California, USA: Please note that some materials used in luggage manufacturing may require specific warning labels under California Proposition 65. It is the B2B client's responsibility to inform Linge of their target market so that appropriate labeling can be applied during production.
